Amateur players are eligible to participate in GolfInRed events!
The USGA has a $1,000 CASH limit that an amateur golfer can receive per competition without forfeiting their amateur status.
This means that if an amateur golfer were to win a competition, they could accept a cash prize of up to $1,000 in value, when playing in a scratch competition only. Any prize or compensation exceeding this limit would jeopardize their amateur status.
Caddies are allowed for GOLFINRED Tour events. In riding events, space to ride with a player may be limited based on (2) cart minimum per group and/or host club rules (if other players in the same group bring caddies as well).Â
Â
Spectators are welcome at GOLFINRED Tour events. Spectators are limited to walking only based on host club policies/rules so also make sure to ask these questions prior to arriving at event.Â
Motorized Carts ARE NOT included with the entry fee.Â
Pull carts are acceptable…players will need to provide their own pull cart.
NOTE: Based on host club policies, a limit of (2) carts per group may be required.
Slacks or shorts are permitted during tournament play and practice rounds.
Â
Denim/jeans will NOT be allowed at host facilities, unless otherwise posted.
Â
*Host Club policy may require additional ‘standards’ be met.
As a professional or amateur golfer, the GOLFINRED Tour expects all players to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Club throwing, offensive language, destruction of property, and any other conduct deemed by the Tournament Committee to be unbecoming of a professional will not be tolerated.
